West Pottsgrove Schedules Friday Bridge Dedication

WEST POTTSGROVE PA – A ceremony planned by the West Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners to dedicate the South Grosstown Road bridge in the name of former township Manager Roger Villano is scheduled for Friday (Aug. 27, 2021) at 1 p.m. at the bridge. The event is free to attend and open to the public.

Signs placed by the township at both entrances to the bridge indicate it will be temporarily closed for the event. Drivers in the area who intend to use the bridge around that time may be detoured.

To to “clean and prep” the span for the ceremony, the township also closed the road Aug. 17 (2021) between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., current Manager Scott Hutt reported earlier on its Facebook page.
