Tower Health Board, Its President Agree on Contract

WEST READING PA – Tower Health has signed a contract with its formerly interim president and chief executive officer, P. Sue Perrotty, to ensure she remains with the organization until the completion of its financial and strategic turnaround, it said. Its monetary value and terms were not disclosed.

Before becoming interim president in February (2021), Perrotty served on Tower Health’s board since 2019. So far under her tenure, the organization said, Tower Health’s ongoing financial turnaround has gained momentum, culminating recently with the organization’s first positive quarterly financial performance in more than two years.

Tower operates Pottstown and Phoenixville hospitals, an extensive network of private family and specialty physicians’ practices, and Tower Health Urgent Care offices across western Montgomery County and elsewhere.

A banking and finance veteran with decades of experience, Perrotty has overseen multi-billion dollar business operations, managed several mergers, and advised businesses of all sizes in the Reading community, Philadelphia and beyond, it added.

“I am thrilled to solidify my role at Tower Health, focusing on building a sustainable future for the health system,” Perrotty said.
