Electrical Repairs Made, Pottsgrove High Re-Opens

REPAIRS COMPLETED – Representatives of Spring City PA electrical contractor A.N. Lynch Co. Inc. completed repairs Thursday night (Sept. 9, 2021) to the faulty electrical transformer (at top) that caused power to be shut off Wednesday (Sept. 8) and Thursday at Pottsgrove High School and the Pottsgrove School District offices, both on Kauffman Road in Lower Pottsgrove. District Community Relations Director Gary DeRenzo said PECO Energy crews restored power Thursday night (at about 8 p.m., according to reports elsewhere) after the work was finished. Both the high school and office re-opened Friday (Sept. 10) at the usual time, DeRenzo added, and all after-school activities will be held as planned.
