Update: Man Arrested on Warrant in Alleged Dispute

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – A 30-year-old Pottstown man who was wanted on a warrant obtained in late July by the Lower Pottsgrove Police Department was arrested Monday (Sept. 20, 2021), its CrimeWatch website reported.

Denzel Williams, the subject of a traffic stop conducted by Limerick Township Police, was held and later taken into custody by Lower Pottsgrove officers. Court records indicate he was wanted on simple assault and other charges stemming from a July 15 domestic dispute in which he allegedly injured a victim and then left the scene before officers arrived.

He was transported Monday by Lower Pottsgrove to the Montgomery County jail. Williams faced preliminary arraignment Tuesday (Sept. 21) before Magisterial District Justice Harry J. Nesbitt III, and is scheduled for an Oct. 6 preliminary hearing before Justice Edward C. Kropp Sr.

Arrest Warrant Issued Following Domestic Dispute

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – An arrest warrant for a 30-year-old Pottstown man who is wanted on several charges related to a domestic dispute was obtained Tuesday (July 20, 2021) by the Lower Pottsgrove Police Department. Police said a victim had been injured as a result of the altercation, which court records indicate occurred earlier this month but for which a location was not provided.

Sought by police is Denzel Williams, who faces two misdemeanor charges of simple assault, and single charges of recklessly endangering another person, and harassment, according to the department’s CrimeWatch website. Officers who responded to the complaint reported Williams had left the scene before their arrival.

The warrant was issued by Magisterial District Justice Edward C. Kropp Sr.
