Troopers Seek Public Help in Construction Site Theft

SALFORD PA – Electric and handheld construction tools were stolen from the back bed of a utility vehicle parked overnight in a Ridge Road, Salford Township construction lot, according to a public information release issued Sunday (Sept. 26, 2021) by Pennsylvania State Police at the Troop K Barracks in Skippack.

Troopers said so-far-unknown actors allegedly stole a Milwaukee-brand 18-volt cordless bandsaw, and two 5-pound sledgehammers with hickory handles from their storage in a 2018 Bobcat 3400XL utility vehicle that was being used by workers for a home building company. The items were valued at a total of $330.

The release stated state police lacked leads in the incident that occurred sometime between Aug. 19 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 20 at 8 a.m., and looked to the public for assistance. Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to call the barracks at 610-584-1250.
