Dense Fog Expected Sunday Morning in West MontCo

MOUNT HOLLY NJ – A “dense fog advisory” was issued for Sunday (Oct. 3, 2021) morning from 3:30-10 a.m. across western Montgomery County, and specifically in Pottstown, Collegeville and surrounding areas, by the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly NJ. It said local visibility during the 6-1/2-hour period would be “near or below one quarter mile.”

It urged drivers on area highways to anticipate potentially “hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.” Its best advice: “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”

State College-based AccuWeather Inc., in a story published Sunday, warned that “weather conditions will deteriorate along the mid-Atlantic and southern Atlantic coasts this week as a storm system crawls across the region.”
