Arrest, 16 Tickets Result from NorCo Police Effort

NORTH COVENTRY PA – State-supported traffic enforcement efforts conducted by the North Coventry Police Department during September resulted in the arrest of one person, issuance of 16 traffic-related citations, and a warning to one driver, the department reported Friday (Oct. 1, 2021) on its CrimeWatch website.

During the 14-day period between Sept. 12 and 25, according to the department, its officers made one arrest of an individual for driving under the influence, 15 tickets for speeding, and one ticket for driving with a suspended license. One driver was given a warning regarding his or her vehicle’s expired inspection.

Hours spent on the specialized patrol were reimbursed to the township by a Pennsylvania traffic enforcement grant, the department added.
