Troopers Report Three Unrelated Arrests for Drugs, DUI
SKIPPACK PA – A Berks County man was arrested on drug-related charges, and two Montgomery County individuals were charged with driving while intoxicated, in separate and unrelated incidents reported this week by Pennsylvania State Police from the Troop K Barracks in Skippack, according to public information releases.
In a report distributed Thursday (Oct. 7, 2021), state police said they arrested a 30-year-old Reading PA man following a traffic stop of a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado on U.S. Route 422 in Upper Providence Township. Troopers did not indicate why they initiated the stop, but said that during the course of their investigation they allegedly found the driver “was under the influence of drugs, and in possession of illegal narcotics.”
He was arrested Sept. 6 at 7:33 p.m., and charges were filed in the Collegeville courtroom of Magisterial District Justice Cathleen Kelly Rebar.
In reports distributed Monday (Oct. 4):
Troopers said they arrested a 26-year-old East Greenville woman Sunday (Oct. 3) at 2:43 a.m. in a 2009 Honda at the intersection of Layfield and Hoffmansville roads in New Hanover Township, for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. Charges were filed against her, they added, in the Gilbertsville courtroom of Justice Maurice Saylor.
On Saturday (Oct. 2) at 12:13 a.m., troopers arrested a 43-year-old Green Lane man driving a 2011 Jeep Wrangler at the intersection of Barndt Road and Sumneytown Pike in Upper Salford Township. After conducting a traffic stop, they found “the operator was under the influence of alcohol” and arrested him. Charges were filed in the Red Hill courtroom of Justice Maureen Coggins.
