Tower Health Wins Advanced Tech ‘Wired’ Certification

WEST READING PA – Tower Health is “wired” with advanced technology, and just won an award confirming that status, it said Friday (Oct. 8, 2021).

The 2021 College of Healthcare Information Management Executives has presented Tower Health with its “Digital Health Most Wired recognition” for acute and ambulatory settings, it reported. The award follows an annual survey that assessed how effectively healthcare organizations apply technology in clinical and business programs to improve community health and care.

The recognition applauds “outstanding digital leaders who have paved the way for what college President and CEO Russell P. Branzell calls an “imminent revolution in healthcare.”

Michelle Trupp, Tower Health chief information officer, noted the organization was “proud of this recognition because it demonstrates our commitment to providing care to our patients when and where they need it.”

Survey participants received a certification based on their overall performance, with level 10 being the highest. Tower earned a level 8 certification in both settings. This is the fourth year the college has conducted the survey and overseen the program.
