Pavement Markers Due for Route 29 Installation
LOWER FREDERICK PA – Lane restrictions are scheduled Monday through Friday (Oct. 11-15, 2021) daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 29 between Ott Road and Route 73, so a PennDOT contractor can install raised pavement markers as safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.
Penn Line Service Inc. of Scottdale PA is the general contractor on the $132,954 project, which involves several highways across the five-county Philadelphia region. Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in Fall 2022.
Drivers are asked to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas, because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.
