Ridge Pike Dental Offering Veterans Free Visits

ROYERSFORD PA – U.S. military service veterans living in Royersford and neighboring communities have an opportunity Nov. 5 (2021; Friday) from 7 a.m. to noon to receive free dental services at Ridge Pike Dental Care, 1835 E. Ridge Pike, as part of Veteran’s Free Dentistry Day.

The observance is dedicated to providing free dental care to a growing number of veterans without dental insurance. The team at Ridge Pike Dental – Dr. Kristyn Rousseau, Dr. Kyle Birkmeyer, and their staff – said they are participating to honor and support local veterans.

Cleanings, fillings, and extractions will be provided per patient during the day. Patients will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Veterans are asked to bring a valid form of veteran’s identification. For more information, call 484-961-8610.

Ridge Pike Dental offers regular offers general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry and other dental patient services. It has participates in the event during previous years, along with dentistry practices in Illinois and Florida.

Increasing evidence links oral health to overall health and well-being. Signs and symptoms of more than 100 medical conditions, including diabetes, HIV/AIDS, Lou Gehrig’s disease, and oral cancer, may first be detected through traditional oral examinations.

“We understand that many veterans in our community and across the nation haven’t been to the dentist for a long period of time. Some veterans don’t have the financial means,” the practice said in a media release. “This event is a great opportunity for us to share our time and resources with men and women who have dedicated their lives to our country.”
