From Out-Of-The-Blue, A Home Depot Gift for the Blue

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Surprising a police department doesn’t occur very often. Then again, neither does an out-of-the-blue presentation of a $1,000 gift.

Both happened last Tuesday (Nov. 23, 2021), as representatives of township retailer The Home Depot, located on Armand Hammer Boulevard, stopped by the Lower Pottsgrove Police station to present Chief Rick Bell, Lt. William James, and the department’s officers and staff with a $1,000 donation from the business’ Operation Surprise! campaign.

The effort is an annual “celebration of The Home Depot’s commitment to giving back” to community causes and individuals by presenting them with “life-changing surprises,” the company said. The contribution offered by Home Depot Store Manager Matt Stufflet and Assistant Manager Brian Raab “supports those who stand on the front lines to protect and serve the Lower Pottsgrove and surrounding communities,” they added.

The department publicly expressed its gratitude for The Home Depot’s generosity.
