IRS Names New Special Agent in Charge for PA, DE
PHILADELPHIA PA – Yury I. Kruty, an investigative special agent with the federal Internal Revenue Service since 2002, has been named special-agent-in-charge of the agency’s Philadelphia IRS-Criminal Investigation field office. He will have responsibility for its operations in Pennsylvania and Delaware, the IRS announced Tuesday (Nov. 30, 2021).
He previously worked as assistant special-agent-in-charge in the IRS-CI New York field office.
Kruty will supervise planning, directing, and evaluating activities of all IRS-CI employees within the two-state area. They investigate potential criminal violations of the Internal Revenue Code and related financial crimes, with a goal of fostering confidence in the tax system and compliance with the law.
