Somebody’s Lucky! Local Cash 5 Ticket Pays $150,000

STOWE PA – A $150,000 jackpot-winning Cash 5 from the Pennsylvania Lottery was sold Thursday (Dec. 2, 2021) at West Pottsgrove’s 7-Eleven convenience store in Stowe, 1057 W. High St., lottery officials reported. It’s not yet known if the winner has claimed the prize for correctly matching all five balls in the drawing, but the store’s owners earned $500 for selling the winning ticket.

The numbers that paid off on the ticket with a Quick Cash option were 2-5-7-9-25. If you’re the ticket-holder (lucky you!) the lottery, headquartered in Middletown PA, wants you to call 1-800-692-7481 “for further instructions,” it said. The local winner’s not alone, by the way; more than 13,400 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes in the drawing, lottery officials said.

Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. A main Cash 5 game prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. Any prizes won on any Quick Cash game must be claimed within one year of the purchase date.

In Cash 5 with Quick Cash, players pay $2 per ticket to select five numbers from 1 to 43. Players must match all five numbers drawn to win the jackpot. Players also win prizes for matching two, three or four numbers. Overall chances of winning in a Quick Cash game are 1 in 4.71, the lottery stated, but chances of winning the jackpot are 1 in 962,598.
