Troopers Arrest Norristown Man Wanted on Warrant
VALLEY FORGE PA – If you’re wanted by Pennsylvania law enforcement agencies or its court system, a casino gaming floor is no place to hide, state police from the Troop K Barracks in Skippack indicated Tuesday (Dec. 21, 2021).
Troopers – stationed at the Valley Forge Casino Resort, 1160 First Ave., on behalf of the state Bureau of Gaming Enforcement – said they arrested a 51-year-old Norristown man who was wanted on an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. He was visiting the casino Saturday (Dec. 18) at 3:55 a.m. as a patron on the gaming floor when he was contacted and taken into custody.
The man was transferred to the custody of the Berks County Sheriff’s Office. The nature of the charges against him was not specified.
