From Whimsy to Frosty, Spring-Ford Doors Mark Holidays
ROYERSFORD PA – What teachers call a “very competitive,” and “very creative” Christmas door decorating challenge is in its fifth year at the Grades 5-6-7 Center in the Spring-Ford Area School District, and members of the public get a chance beginning Thursday (Dec. 23, 2021) to pick their favorites.
The center’s faculty, staff, and students spend many hours planning and completing the holiday-themed displays that decorate nearly every classroom entrance wall inside the South Lewis Road building. Voting occurs daily on Instagram, here, and continues through several brackets of competition until only two selections remain as prize winners.
The prizes, handmade trophies that also reflect the seasonal spirit, are considered works of art themselves.
