Sign Maintenance Continues at Routes 422 and 202

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Drivers who find themselves at the interchange connecting U.S. Route 422 to U.S. Route 202 in the King of Prussia area will for a second week encounter periodic overnight lane closures Tuesday through Friday (Jan. 25-28, 2022), from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, for maintenance work on large signs there, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation warned.

The work is part of an improvement project in which PennDOT is replacing and repairing large sign structures throughout the Philadelphia region. Kriger Construction Inc. of Scranton PA is the general contractor on the $2.9 million project.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Backups and slowdowns may occur, PennDOT said. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.
