Spring-Ford Schools Schedule Teacher Recruiting Fair

ROYERSFORD PA – The Spring-Ford Area School District will conduct in-person and virtual interviews in a teacher job fair scheduled for March 9 (2022; Wednesday) from 5-7 p.m. at Spring-Ford Area High School, 350 S. Lewis Rd. Advance registrations are requested, and can be made here.

This event has been added to The Posts’ calendar.

Available positions include elementary teachers, secondary teachers, special education teachers, special area teachers, and others, according to the district.

In-person attendees can visit the high school at any point during their half-hour time-slot, the district said. After checking in, they’ll be able to meet representatives from each of the district’s seven elementary schools (K-4), Intermediate School (5-6), Middle Schools (7-8), and High Schools (9-12). Guests will even “score some goodies on the way out!,” it added.

Virtual sessions are intended for those “ready to learn more about Spring-Ford, but not in the area.” The district said it has “a limited number of Zoom meets available. One-on-one Zoom meetings will be available every 15 minutes. Select a time, and the district will see applicants online. Zoom links will be sent in a confirmation e-mail.

The district noted it “is located in the western central portion of Montgomery County and in the eastern central section of Chester County. (It) is comprised of the townships of Limerick and Upper Providence, and the boroughs of Royersford and Spring City. It is one of the larger districts in Montgomery County, but (strives) to maintain a sense of community in the district.
