No Brush Involved, But Still A Fire to Extinguish
MINOR FIRE SATURDAY NIGHT IN SANATOGA – First responders from the Sanatoga and Ringing Hill fire companies, and Lower Pottsgrove police patrols (at top), were called Saturday (Feb. 12, 2022) at 8:18 p.m. to a home on the 1400 block of North Sanatoga Road to extinguish what was initially labeled a brush fire. It turned out to be less upon their arrival. Police said insufficiently cooled ashes placed into a trash can ignited some remaining refuse there. Surrounding darkness may have made it difficult for those who called emergency services to determine the source of the flames. The minor fire was quickly put out.
