HARLEYSVILLE PA – The death of an adult woman who was found Monday (Feb. 21, 2022) at 6:30 a.m., lying face-down in the parking lot of an address in the 3900 block of Eastport Way in Harleysville, is being investigated as a crash fatality, according to Pennsylvania State Police at the Troop K Barracks in Skippack.

Troopers said they are still collecting and evaluating evidence. A brief public information release distributed Monday did not suggest the specific nature of the incident. However, troopers reported that “evidence observed at the scene (was) consistent with a motor vehicle crash.”

The female victim was not identified, nor was the type or form of evidence that prompted their observation.

The troop’s Criminal Investigation Unit is pursuing the case. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Trooper Kedra at the barracks by calling 610-584-1250.
