‘Coffee With A Cop’ Returns in New Hanover

GILBERTSVILLE PA – “Coffee With A Cop,” the program in which members of the New Hanover Police Department sit down with township residents to enjoy a hot cuppa joe and just talk about what’s happening locally, or not, is returning this month, the department said on its Facebook page.

Fresh coffee will be served March 16 (Wednesday) beginning at 6 p.m. to visitors to the department offices at 2943 N. Charlotte St. There’s no need to register in advance; just come as you are, the department noted. The event is free to attend and open to the public.

It will offer a short presentation “about common scams and other fraud, particularly scams targeting the elderly population,” it added.
