Egg Hunts Set in Lower, Upper Pottsgroves; Perkiomenville
Easter egg hunts are planned for April 9 (2022; Saturday) by Lower Pottsgrove Township at its Sanatoga Park, by the Upper Pottsgrove Fire Company at that township’s Heather Place Park, and by Boyertown-based Glocker Realty and Insurance at a facility in Perkiomenville. The details:
Lower Pottsgrove Ready for 20th Easter Hunt
LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – This year marks the 20th anniversary of Easter egg hunts in Lower Pottsgrove, and the township will observe the occasion April 9 beginning at 10 a.m. with children prowling for brightly colored eggs at Sanatoga Park, 223 S. Sanatoga Rd. The event has been planned by the Parks and Recreation Committee, and sponsored by Traffic Planning and Design.
Egg hunts will be staged for 2-year-olds at 10 a.m., in the Green Area; 3- to 4-year-olds at 10:10 a.m., in the Blue Area; 5- to 6-year-olds at 10:20 a.m., in the Yellow Area; and 7- to 8-year-olds at 10:30 a.m., in the Red Area. Each child should bring his or her own basket. The township recommends prospective participants arrive early, because each hunt is expected to start at its assigned time.
April 16 (Saturday) has been reserved as a rain date, if needed.
Egg Hunt Returns to Upper Pottsgrove Park
UPPER POTTSGROVE PA – Firefighters in Upper Pottsgrove are hailing the return of their annual, and formerly postponed, Easter egg hunt on April 9 beginning at 2 p.m. in the township’s Heather Place Park, 1420 Heather Pl.
A rain date for the following Saturday (April 16) has been scheduled if needed, the fire company added.
Realty Firm Holds Egg Hunt in Perkiomenville
PERKIOMENVILLE PA – An Easter egg hunt sponsored by Glocker Realty & Insurance of Boyertown is scheduled for April 9 beginning at 1 p.m. at Abby’s Pumpkins, 2471 Little Road, Perkiomenville. The hunt involves about 5,000 eggs, and participants can take their own photos with the Easter Bunny, it said.
A rain date had been set for April 10 (Sunday), also beginning at 1 p.m.
