GreenAllies, Students Re-Schedule Arboretum Egg Hunt

UPPER POTTSGROVE PA – Rainy weather created wet and very slippery trails that caused the Forest Easter Egg Hunt, originally planned for April 9 (2022) in Upper Pottsgrove, to be postponed. Now area students, working with the GreenAllies organization, are ready to re-boot the hunt this Saturday (April 16) beginning at 11 a.m. at Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Rd.

GreenAllies, Students Re-Schedule Arboretum Egg Hunt

Mother Nature just declined to cooperate, arboretum officials said of the weekend downpour, so students are again in planning mode.

The traditional hunt is being turned into a complete family event by adding crafts, games, and a walk through the woods looking for eggs scattered throughout our trails, students reported. Prizes and food are included. The event is intended to make young Easter Bunny believers smile from ear to ear. The cost is $5 per participant.
