Lower Frederick Township residents and their children can hunt for eggs an meet the Easter bunny on Saturday, and Augustus Lutheran Church plans an April 30 to-go-only turkey dinner.

Easter Bunny Due Saturday in Lower Frederick

LOWER FREDERICK PA – A children’s Easter egg hunt, conducted by the Lower Frederick Parks and Recreation Board and sponsored by local businesses, is scheduled to be held Saturday (April 16, 2022) beginning at 10 a.m. in the township’s Coble Park, at the intersection of Little Road and Route 29.

The event is open to township residents, who are reminded to “bring your baskets!” Kids will have a chance to collect eggs they’ve found, and meet the Easter bunny. Parents will have an opportunity to take memorable photos.

Augustus Lutheran in Trappe Holds Turkey Dinner

TRAPPE – A spring turkey “take-out only” dinner conducted by Augustus Lutheran Church is scheduled for April 30 (2022; Saturday) from 4-7 p.m. at the church, 717 W. Main St., it said.

Meals cost $20 each and can be ordered in advance by calling 610-489-9625. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door. Proceeds from the meal benefit the church’s missionary effort in Tanzania.
