Crime Stoppers Offer Reward for Vehicle Information

POTTSTOWN PA – Individuals who can provide information that helps the Pottstown Police Department locate a vehicle believed to be involved in recent shootings can qualify for a cash reward being offered by the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers organization, it said Thursday (April 21, 2022).

The department is continuing its investigation into two separate shootings that occurred April 2 (Saturday) in the borough.

In the first, police allege a victim was shot by a passenger inside a white-colored Chevrolet Tahoe, a photo of which (above) was provided by Crime Stoppers on its CrimeWatch website. The second, police said, occurred near the intersection of King and North Warren streets, when shots were fired at three juveniles.

The same white Chevrolet Tahoe was observed on surveillance video in the area, it added. The Tahoe bears an unknown vehicle registration and is missing its left front hubcap.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to anonymously contact Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers, which accepts tips toll-free by phone at 1-800-472-8477, or online here. The amount of its potential reward was not specified. Rewards must lead to an arrest in, help find a fugitive in, or assist in solving the alleged theft. Information on the incident, although accurate when released, may later be changed or updated, it noted.
