WMCTC Students Create Flag Dropbox for Rep. Ciresi

READY FOR PUBLIC USE – Area residents who own a United States flag that’s tattered, torn, stained, or otherwise unpresentable for display are encouraged to drop it off for future burning disposal at the Royersford office of 146th House District Rep. Joe Ciresi, 301 N. Lewis Rd., Unit 9C. Ciresi constituent Bill Kain and students at the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center recently repurposed a former U.S. Postal Service mailbox (at top and above) to receive and hold discarded flags for incineration, often conducted annually by local Boy Scout troops and other military-related organizations. The box is available during the office’s weekday business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The center provides career education for students in the Pottsgrove, Spring-Ford, and Upper Perkiomen school districts.
