Master Gardeners’ Plant Sale Saturday in Collegeville

Master Gardeners' Annual Sale May 14 in Collegeville

COLLEGEVILLE PA – Penn State Master Gardeners will conduct their annual plant sale Saturday (May 14, 2022) rain or shine – all plants are sold under cover – from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Montgomery County 4-H Center, 1015 Bridge Road.

The popular sale includes more than 5,000 annuals, perennials, and woodies with specialties in herbs and vegetables, native plants, berries, water plants and Master Gardener grown plants.

It’s consider an event suited to residents who not only want plants but also guidance to start or improve their garden. Knowledgeable Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions, provide information on what plants are best for your site, and trouble-shoot garden, lawn, tree, and shrub problems.

The event is open to the public; early arrival is suggested for the best selection, promoters said. Visitors also are invited to tour the Master Gardeners’ demonstration gardens on site.

Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted. All proceeds support local Master Gardener activities within the county.
