KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Lane closures to accommodate milling and paving operations are scheduled to occur through Friday (June 10, 2022) on state-owned highways across five Chester County townships within The Post’s circulation area, the King of Prussia office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.

Work schedules and locations are:

  • Monday and Tuesday (June 6-7) overnights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning on Pothouse Road, between Route 113 and Route 29 in Schuylkill and East Pikeland townships; and
  • Monday through Friday (June 6-10) overnights also from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning on Route 724, between Whartnaby Street and Park Road and Hill Church Road in North Coventry, East Vincent, and East Coventry townships.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. PennDOT said slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.

Under these improvement projects, PennDOT is milling the existing roadway surface and repaving the state highways with new asphalt.
