Lower Frederick Police Hope You’ll Be ‘Scam Aware’

LOWER FREDERICK PA – Between telephone calls, texts, and the Internet, Lower Frederick Police Chief Paul Maxey says, scams that aim to steal your money or your identity are plentiful. To help keep township residents and others safe from such schemes, the Police Department wants them to know how to identify, and avoid, possible attempts at fraud.

In the township newsletter distributed Tuesday (June 21, 2022), the department offered information it considers valuable in protecting against a rising number of scammers.
