Annual North Coventry Fair Opens Monday; Fireworks Friday

NORTH COVENTRY PA – The annual North Coventry Fire Company fair dates back to the 1950s, and was canceled only once: for the COVID pandemic in 2020. It’s back again for 2022, scheduled for a run from Monday through Saturday (July 4-9, 2022) with amusement rides, games, bingo, and a wide variety of foods and beverages for sale at its grounds, 144 W. Schuylkill Rd., beginning daily in late afternoons.

It features fireworks, too, on Friday (July 8) at 10 p.m. Its rain date is Saturday (July 9).

Dozens of volunteers will be on hand to ensure the thousands who attend the fair have a safe and fun time. Wristbands are available most nights so kids – both big and small – can enjoy any ride as many times as possible throughout a night.

New this year is a nightly Sly Fox Beer Garden, located in the firehouse engine room. Grab some food and a cold Sly Fox Lager to celebrate summer.

On Independence Day (Monday), the first 100 children between the ages of 3 and 10 who arrive at the grounds receive a special July 4th key chain pop-it toy. The fair opens at 5 p.m., with all-you-can-ride special wristbands for sale from 5 p.m. to close. The been garden opens at 5 p.m. too.
