Phoenixville Chamber CEO Pursues Leadership Training
PHOENIXVILLE PA – Jessica Capistrant, president and CEO of the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce, recently completed her second year of non-profit leadership training at the Washington DC-based Institute for Organization Management. She is positioned to complete courses this summer, and is scheduled to earn her institute designation as a University of Arizona graduate, it said.
The institute is the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Institute graduates are recognized across the country as leaders in their industries and organizations,” the organization reported, because they “have the knowledge, skills, and dedication necessary to achieve professional and organizational success.”
Capistrant is taking a four-part, 96-credit-hour course. Her summer courses will be completed at the University of Wisconsin (Madison), University of Georgia (Athens), and locally at Villanova.
The U.S. Chamber describes itself as the world’s largest business organization representing companies of all sizes across every sector of the economy.
