Martignetti New Main Street Manager in Boyertown

BOYERTOWN PA – Ellen Martignetti, a Boyertown resident since 1995, and a volunteer at Building a Better Boyertown for more than 10 years, has been named as that non-profit organization’s new Main Street manager. She most recently served as its board secretary, and also dedicated time to its Design and Promotions committees.

In her role as Main Street manager, she is tasked with continuing the organization’s stated mission to “preserve Boyertown’s artistic, historical, and agricultural heritage, by providing (the community) with physical improvements, unique opportunities, and social interactions for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.”

“Boyertown has a lot to offer, not only in historic or cultural heritage tourism but also in our incredible annual events and public spaces,” Martignetti said. “I look forward to supporting our businesses, attractions, and organizations, while also welcoming new entrepreneurs and innovators that understand the value of our little slice of Americana.”

A graduate of Drexel University, Martignetti holds a degree in interior design and has worked in the commercial design and furniture industry for many years. She also gained retail experience working for the Disney store. Since 2016, Ellen has worked as a learning support aide in Boyertown’s Pine Forge Elementary School.

“I want downtown Boyertown to be a celebration of our agricultural region, artists, and makers that honors the past and looks toward the future,” Martignetti added.
