‘Building A Better Boyertown’ Set to Mark 20th Anniversary

BOYERTOWN PA – Planning is under way for celebration of the 20th anniversary of Building a Better Boyertown, the non-profit organization tasked with preserving the borough’s artistic, historical, and agricultural heritage. It’s scheduled a gala with a a roaring ’20s-themed dinner for Sept. 2 (Friday) from 6-9 p.m. at Brakeman’s Café, 56 S. Washington St.

The event is open to the public, but tickets are limited. They’re available for online purchase here, or by calling the Building a Better Boyertown office at 610-369-3054.

Guests will enjoy a variety of seasonal appetizers, a plated salad, and plated dinner. Dinners include a honey-sesame sticky chicken thigh and a peachy BBQ pork slider with smoked onions. Guests will receive a complimentary glass of wine or beer, and there will be a cash bar available featuring favorite cocktails. Complimentary sweet tea and green tea will also be provided.

Those who attend should feel free to come in their best 1920’s fashions, the organization suggested.
