Update: Weather Postponed Lower Frederick Concert

LOWER FREDERICK PA – A township summer concert series event featuring The Mighty Manatees band, which was planned for Thursday (July 28, 2022) at Lower Frederick’s Cuddy Park, was postponed by its Parks and Recreation Committee and re-scheduled for next week due to what forecasters accurately predicted was impending inclement weather.

The concert is now on the calendar for Aug. 4 (Thursday), again at 7 p.m., in the park on Colonial Drive.

The postponement decision was made “given the continuing weather predictions for potential heavy lightning in the area this evening, and the very oppressive heat index,” committee Chair Pamela Reich explained in an e-mail.
