Pennsburg, Red Hill Teens Charged With Retail Theft
MANSFIELD PA – Three teenagers – an 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, both from Pennsburg, and a 17-year-old female from Red Hill – were taken into custody Sunday (July 24, 2022) at 6:03 p.m. by Pennsylvania State Police from the Troop F Barracks in Mansfield, they said, on charges of retail theft.
Troopers stated they responded to a report of a shoplifting incident at the Walmart store on South Main Street in Richmond Township, Tioga County.
They alleged the three individuals attempted to steal Pokemon cards, National Football League cards, a gray tote box, pops characters, a Star Wars R2 character, store merchandise items, miscellaneous novelty items, miscellaneous Rainbow Loom items, miscellaneous Lego sets, and an HP wand item. The total value of the goods exceeded $950, according to a list provided by troopers.
Charges were expected to be filed in the court of Magisterial District Justice Tiffany Cummings, they said.
The state police report was issued Tuesday (July 26).
