Woman Wanted on Warrant for Alleged Retail Theft
LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – A 40-year-old Philadelphia woman is wanted for arrest on a warrant issued Friday (July 29, 2022) to the Lower Pottsgrove Police Department, on charges it said were related to alleged retail theft and conspiracy to commit burglary.
The subject, identified as Laurie Ann Rosa, is charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, and criminal trespass, both felonies; conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor; and retail theft, according to court records.
In a report on its CrimeWatch website, the department claimed Rosa entered the Home Depot store on Armand Hammer Boulevard in the township, “grabbed a bag intended for use after check out, placed items into the bag,” passed “all points of sale and failed to pay for (the) items, and left the store.” Members of Home Depot’s loss prevention team “attempted to stop her, (but) she fled on foot,” it added.
Police also allege Rosa “also entered the office at Storage Sense” at 1500 Industrial Hwy., also in the township, “and conspired with another person to take cash from the register while the employee was not present.” The report offered no other details on that incident.
Rosa had been scheduled for a Friday preliminary hearing on the charges. The warrant was issued by Magisterial District Justice Edward C. Kropp Sr., with whom the hearing had been scheduled.
Anyone with information on Rosa’s whereabouts is asked to call the department at 610-326-1508, or offer a tip anonymously at its “Submit A Tip” webpage, here.
