Sunnyside Ave. Closing Tuesday for Sewer Work

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – A project to replace 824 linear feet of sanitary sewer main pipe on Sunnyside Avenue, between Kepler Drive and Country Drive in Lower Pottsgrove, is scheduled by the township Sewer Authority to begin Tuesday (Aug. 2, 2022), according to a township website alert.

The project will cause vehicular traffic disruptions, it warned, because the affected portion of Sunnyside Avenue will be closed for at least three weeks, and possibly more. Local access beyond the closure points will be limited to only residents who live between Kepler and Country drives, it added.

No detour routes were suggested in the announcement, but they may be publicly marked once the work gets under way.

The township thanked drivers and affected residents in advance for their cooperation during the work period.
