Attorney with High-Profile Local Cases Headed to DC
WASHINGTON DC – Jennifer Arbittier Williams, the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania whose office prosecuted cases involving the Phoenixville School District, a Berks County drug supplier, and a Pottstown felon, has accepted a job as partner in a Washington DC law firm. She starts there Sept. 6, her new employer announced Tuesday (Aug. 2, 2022).
The firm, Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan LLP, said Williams would offer its clients experience in national and cyber security, crisis management and litigation. She has served the previous 20 years in career positions with the Department of Justice.
During her tenure in the Eastern District, Williams’ office prosecuted a convicted Phoenixville schools’ finance director for embezzlement, a convicted Berks County supplier of drugs to Pottstown users, and a Pottstown felon accused of robbery, among others.
