Free Family Movie, ‘Zootopia,’ Presented in Collegeville

COLLEGEVILLE PA – “Zootopia,” the latest in a series of free family movies presented to the public by Ursinus College and the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation, is scheduled for screening Aug. 12 (2022; Friday) beginning at dusk (about 8:30 p.m.) on the lawn outside the college’s Berman Museum, 601 E. Main St. (at top). Guests will be welcomed beginning at 7 p.m.

Those attending should drive into the campus from East Fifth Avenue behind the Collegeville Fire Company building. Parking, including that for handicapped individuals, is available around Corson Hall and in lots near the facilities building.

Those attending are urged to bring chairs and blankets for comfortable seating. Two food trucks will be on-site, and the corporation also will sell popcorn. In case of rain, the movie will be moved into Olin Auditorium on the campus.

The museum’s indoor exhibitions and outdoor installations will be open for viewing. Also, a free, family-friendly “Cut and Paste: Collage-Making Workshop” suitable for all ages will be available from 5-7 p.m. at the museum. Advance registration is requested; register online here.
