Pottstown Arts Cultural Alliance Re-Opens on Facebook

POTTSTOWN PA – The Pottstown Arts Cultural Alliance page on Facebook, which was dormant and without an administrator for several months this year, is now being moderated by The Post Publications, publishers of The Sanatoga Post and The Pottstown Post.

The administrator transition, which occurred Monday (Aug. 1, 2022), enabled continuation of the group of nearly 400 users. The page is again available for public viewing, and also open to additional free membership for those interested. Find it on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/pottstownarts.

Some of the group’s founders are among its current members. They also are local experts in their fields, who greatly contributed to its success. Thanks to them, the page has persisted for years as “a forum for lively and polite discussion of cultural events in the Pottstown area,” its mission statement notes.

The Posts hope to continue the page’s stated intent “to bring together historical, cultural, musical, culinary, performing, literary, and artistic talents” from across the Greater Pottstown area. The page is again accepting posts and content from organizations and individuals within those vibrant communities.

It can be expected to serve as a venue to promote, and engage the public in, local cultural opportunities.

The Posts consist of a local-only multimedia news network that covers portions of western Montgomery, eastern Berks, and northern Chester counties in Pennsylvania.
