Labor, Industry Secretary Visits Area Thursday

HARRISBURG PA – Representatives of seven western Montgomery County businesses will meet Thursday (Aug. 25, 2022) with Pennsylvania Labor and Industry Secretary Jennifer Berrier, during her visit to the area with state 146th House District Rep. Joe Ciresi, to discuss their companies, business histories, accomplishments, and concerns.

They day is scheduled to begin at 10:10 a.m. at the offices of TP Trailers, 703 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick, as Berrier joins in a roundtable discussion with multi-generational business owners Tom and Jane Perkins of TP Trailers; Paul Sawchuck of Sawchuck’s Garage, 3196 W. Ridge Pike, Pottstown; Rick Wojton of Wojton’s Nursery, 1718 W. Main St., Trappe; and a representative of Limerick Airport on West Ridge Pike.

At 11:30 a.m., they’ll see a school bus at Custer’s Garage, 3143 W. Ridge Pike, Pottstown, which is being donated by the Levy School Bus Co. will be shipped to Ukraine to meet a need there by the Solomonova school district.

The pair is scheduled to meet at 12:10 p.m. with Jamie Orr about upcoming car show in Pottstown, during which Volkswagen’s new electric vehicle will be unveiled.

Finally, from 1:15-2 p.m., they’ll tour Precision Polymer Products at 815 South St., Pottstown.
