Looking for Business Financing? MontCo Can Help

NORRISTOWN PA – An economic development financing forum hosted by the Montgomery County Commerce Department and targeted to bankers, accountants, lawyers, and other interested parties is scheduled to be held virtually on Sept. 20 (2022; Tuesday) at 10 a.m. Register for the free event, which is intended to review county financing tools available for business growth and investment, here.

“We talk with businesses every day and share information about our economic development financing programs,” Commerce Department Director David Zellers said. “We also want to be sure that the professionals they trust and seek guidance from know our programs as well,” he added. “Every one of our programs provides opportunity to help businesses, banks, advisers, investors, and their community see another project get done.”

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about programs that the Montco Forward Loan Program, Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy, and the county Industrial Development Authority’s tax-exempt bond financing. Presentations will be made by Zellers; Rebecca Swanson, executive director of the county Redevelopment Authority; and Merle Ochrach, solicitor for the county Industrial Development Authority.
