Excavation Continues for Redner’s Fuel Station

STILL DIGGING AWAY – Excavation crews continued their work Monday (Oct. 31, 2022; at top and below) morning on construction of the fueling station to be operated by Redner’s Markets at the northeast corner of North Charlotte and Mervine streets in Lower Pottsgrove. The location is directly in front of the Redner’s Warehouse Market in the North End Shopping Center. Its contractors during recent weeks cleared the property of its former building and debris, installed underground water-handling systems, poured driveway curbing and kiosk foundations, and installed the initial sections of fuel pumps. It’s unknown when construction will be completed, although Redner’s representatives said months ago they hoped for a December opening.
