Holistic Center ‘Second Nest’ Opens in Pottstown

POTTSTOWN PA – The Second Nest, a holistic healing center located at 343 E. High St., recently observed its grand opening with staff members and guests in a ribbon-cutting conducted by the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Second Nest features massage therapists, estheticians, nurse practitioners, reiki masters, and others practiced in holistic arts. It offers classes in yoga and meditation, several forms of massage, myofascial release, “ku-hp” treatments, wellness, aromatherapy, and reflexology services. It also provides memberships toward monthly services.

Owner Annie Anderson is a licensed massage therapist and holistic practitioner who was owner of Birds of a Feather Holistic Wellness Studio. Opening the Second Nest expanded the amount of care it could offer to the community, she said. Anderson “has incorporated as many approaches to healing as she and the other Second Nest practitioners could bring to the new location,” the chamber reported.

The Second Nest is a member of the chamber, a membership-based business advocacy organization that operates in Montgomery, Berks, and Chester counties.
