Spring-Ford Sets ALICE Presentation for Wednesday
ROYERSFORD PA – An upcoming evening discussion geared toward parents only in the Spring-Ford Area School District is intended to explain, and answer questions about, the district’s ALICE program to deal with potential school threats.
The presentation is being offered Wednesday (Nov. 16, 2022) by Spring-Ford School Police Department Lt. Gwen Phillips and Ofc. Terry Heydt from 6:30-8 p.m. at the high school, 350 S. Lewis Rd. The event is free to attend by district parents. Seating reservations are now being accepted online, here.
ALICE is an acronym for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate. Parents will learn about the training program, and review the book it references, titled “I’m Not Scared… I’m Prepared.”
