Bradford Re-elected to Democratic Leadership Team

HARRISBURG PA – Montgomery County state Rep. Matt Bradford, whose 70th House District includes Worcester Township, has been chosen by the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus as Democratic chair of the House Appropriations Committee for the 2023-’24 legislative session.

Bradford is part of the current caucus leadership team, whose members were unanimously re-elected Tuesday (Nov. 15, 2022) to continue service. It is headed by Democratic Rep. Joanna E. McClinton of Philadelphia.

“After having made one of the greatest gains in legislative seats in the past 50 years, we intend to exercise our heightened influence in every committee and on every bill,” the team said of its re-election. It pledged to address outstanding issues dealing with health care access, economic policies, school funding, and community safety.
