ChesCo Video Shopping Channels Move to Streaming
WEST CHESTER PA – If you can’t get enough furry pink slippers, digital gaming gear, or kitchen appliances and cookware from your big-screen television shopping channel, “wait, wait, there’s more!”
QVC and HSN, the video commerce broadcast brands with studios and headquarters based in Chester County, on Tuesday (Nov. 15, 2022) said they were adding their programming as a live stream to Roku, an online streaming video service that reaches an estimated 80 million people in U.S. households.
Roku Channel audiences are expected to receive about 40 hours a day of live programs across both channels, QVC and HSN owner Qurate Retail Inc. said. It intends to feature “premier brands and fresh new products presented by celebrities, influencers, and other interesting personalities who engage with customers in real time on multiple platforms.”
Roku Channel is available on the internet, and on Apple and Android devices, Amazon Fire TV, and select Samsung TVs.
