With Thanks, Township Re-Opens Pruss Hill Bridge
LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Lower Pottsgrove’s Pruss Hill Road bridge (at top and below), a structurally sound two-lane replacement of the former aging and crumbling crossing over a run into Sanatoga Creek, officially re-opened to the public Wednesday (Nov. 23, 2022) at 2:30 p.m.
It took about two weeks longer than expected, township Manager Ed Wagner acknowledged, but rainy weather and other factors out of the township’s control created delays.
Township Utilities Director John Fogel, who personally helped remove signs that had detoured traffic around the road when it closed in September for the bridge installation, was excited. “Happy Thanksgiving!” on behalf of the township and its public works department, Fogel offered to its residents in a phone call.
