Walk-In Wednesdays, Get A Job at Veterans’ Center

SPRING CITY PA – Certified nurse aides, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, nurse aide trainees, and custodial workers all are being sought for job openings being offered by the state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs at its Southeastern Veterans’ Center at 1 Veterans Dr.

To make the hiring process convenient, easy, and hassle-free, the center is conducting walk-in interviews every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Probably not surprisingly, they’re labeled as “Walk-In Wednesdays,” intended “to explore employment opportunities and possibly receive a job offer on the spot,” the department said.

It “understands searching for a job can sometimes be intimidating and inconvenient. That is why we decided to make the process easy for anyone looking to join the staff at one of our veterans homes,” deputy adjutant general of Veterans Affairs Brig. Gen. (PA) Maureen Weigl said. “Simply walk-in on any Wednesday” to the center, “and we will have staff ready to interview you.”
