Schwenksville Woman Cited in Perkiomen Crash
PERKIOMEN PA – A 55-year-old Harleysville woman sustained a possible but unidentified injury as the result of an accident between two motor vehicles on Skippack Pike at its intersection with Haldeman Road in Perkiomen Township, Pennsylvania State Police at the Troop K Barracks in Skippack reported Wednesday (Nov. 23, 2022).
She was not transported to a medical facility, however, the agency added.
The accident occurred Nov. 21 (Monday) at 2:34 p.m. after the Harleysville driver, traveling south on Haldeman Road in a 2012-model Ford Mustang, came to a stop at the intersection “due to a properly posted stop sign,” troopers wrote.
A 75-year-old Schwenksville woman, driving a 2019-model Nissan Altima, was traveling west on Skippack Pike at the time, they added. Troopers said the Nissan “pulled out in front” of the Mustang, “causing a crash.” The Schwenksville woman was not injured. Both drivers were said to have been wearing lap and shoulder safety belts.
Troopers cited the Schwenksville driver for failure to obey stop and yield signs, the report stated.
